PRIMARY FUNCTION(S):
Supports the development of strategic plans and program documents such as plans, policies, procedures, drawing upon technical insight and understanding in related technical disciplines. Function as a group facilitator for meetings and exercises, as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum/General Experience: Five years of progressively more responsible experience in managing numerous, complex, and time-critical support activities simultaneously. Requires expert knowledge of the functional area in which support is being provided and outstanding written and oral communication skills. Must be able to anticipate support needs and develop and execute detailed plans for meeting those needs. Requires broad knowledge of Government reinvention strategies and familiarity with the principles and practices of emergency management preparedness planning and operations. Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Minimum Education: BS Degree in business or management related field. Masters degree in another field or other graduate degree (e.g., J.D.) with substantial credits in management-related areas also acceptable. A Bachelors Degree plus 3 years of additional, directly related work experience (over and above the minimum experience requirements for this position) may be substituted for the Masters Degree.

Senior Logistician Tech 5 DoD Contractor

LOCATION:  Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville AL

LME® provides ILS expertise on-site in Germany to support U.S. Army Europe (USAREUR) aircraft. The contractor shall support Apache units in Special Tools and Test Equipment (STTE), transportability assets and sustainment training devices.  The contractor will coordinate ongoing and projected USAREUR force modernization programs and Apache Materiel Fielding Plan (MFP).  The contractor will provide input, advice and recommendations for technical and logistical support for Apache unit(s) that are deployed to contingency operations or that are planning exercises/operations within the EUCOM AOR.

Qualifications: Minimum of 10 years experience in Army Apache maintenance.  Be capable of independent thinking.  Work without supervision.  Strong briefing skills. Must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
