Functional Responsibilities: (one or more of the following)
  • Performs logistics functions to include acquisition, supply chain coordination and communication, integrated logistics support, manpower estimating, fabrication, distribution and transportation.
  • Provides acquisition planning, training program development and implementation, system design/engineering/integration, or test and evaluation in support of government or commercial programs.
  • Procures goods and services to support the project.
  • Provides program management support to include project control, project planning, and cost analysis.
  • Performs systems integration and requirements analysis.
  • Possesses appropriate education and experience to receive guidance from senior level managers and to work independently on assigned tasks. Has knowledge and experience in the logistics or supply fields.
  • Receives guidance from senior level managers and/or engineers and works as part of a team to accomplish assigned tasks.
  • Undertakes duties to administer, supervise, or perform work involving the planning, directing, or operating of rail, motor, air, or water transportation systems and service, including positions involving responsibility for operation of both transportation service and terminal facilities.
  • Performs logistics functions to include distribution and transportation.

 

Job Qualifications:
  • Senior Logistician 16: BS/BA degree and not less than 26 years experience in logistics or supply; MS/MA degree and not less than 20 years experience. Technical civilian or military school experience directly related to the equipment in task order requirements may substitute for 2 years experience. Must have not less than 6 years of project management experience.
  • Senior Logistician 15: BS/BA degree and not less than 24 years experience in logistics or supply; MS/MA degree and not less than 18 years experience. Technical civilian or military school experience directly related to the equipment in task order requirements may substitute for 2 years experience. Must have not less than 3 years of project management experience.
  • Senior Logistician 14: BS/BA degree and not less than 22 years experience in logistics or supply; MS/MA degree and 16 years experience. Technical civilian or military school experience directly related to the equipment in task order requirements may substitute for 2 years experience.
  • Senior Logistician 13: BS/BA degree and not less than 20 years experience in logistics or supply; MS/MA degree and not less than 14 years experience. Technical civilian or military school experience directly related to the equipment in task order requirements may substitute for 2 years experience.
  • Senior Logistician 12: High School Diploma or GED and not less than 30 years experience in logistics or supply; BS/BA degree and not less than 18 years related experience, or an MS/MA degree and not less than 12 years experience. Technical civilian or military school experience directly related to the equipment in task order requirements may substitute for 2 years experience.
  • Logistician 11: High School Diploma or GED and not less than 28 years experience in logistics or supply; BS/BA degree and not less than 16 years related experience, or an MS/MA degree and not less than 10 years experience. Technical civilian or military school experience directly related to the equipment in task order requirements may substitute for 2 years experience.
  • Logistician 10: High School Diploma or GED and not less than 26 years experience in logistics or supply; BS/BA degree and not less than 14 years related experience, or an MS/MA degree and not less than 8 years experience. Technical civilian or military school experience directly related to the equipment in task order requirements may substitute for 2 years experience.
  • Logistician 9: High School Diploma or GED and not less than 24 years experience in logistics or supply; BS/BA degree and not less than 12 years related experience, or an MS/MA degree and not less than 6 years experience. Technical civilian or military school experience directly related to the equipment in task order requirements may substitute for 2 years experience.
  • Logistician 8: High School Diploma or GED and not less than 22 years experience in logistics or supply; BS/BA degree and not less than 10 years related experience, or an MS/MA degree and not less than 4 years experience. Technical civilian or military school experience directly related to the equipment in task order requirements may substitute for 2 years experience.
  • Logistician 7: High School Diploma or GED and not less than 20 years experience in logistics or supply; BS/BA degree and not less than 8 years related experience, or an MS/MA degree and not less than 2 years experience. Technical civilian or military school experience directly related to the equipment in task order requirements may substitute for 2 years experience.
  • Logistician 6: High School Diploma or GED and not less than 15 years experience in logistics or supply; BS/BA degree and not less than 6 years related experience, or an MS/MA degree and no experience. Technical civilian or military school experience directly related to the equipment in task order requirements may substitute for 2 years experience.
  • Logistician 5: High School Diploma or GED and not less than 12 years experience in logistics or supply; BS/BA degree and not less than 4 years related experience. Technical civilian or military school experience directly related to the equipment in task order requirements may substitute for 2 years experience.
  • Logistician 4: High School Diploma or GED and not less than 8 years experience in logistics or supply; BS/BA degree with not less than 2 years related experience. Technical civilian or military school experience directly related to the equipment in task order requirements may substitute for 2 years experience.
  • Logistician 3: High School Diploma or GED and not less than 6 years experience in logistics or supply; BS/BA degree and no experience. Technical civilian or military school experience directly related to the equipment in task order requirements may substitute for 2 years experience.
  • Logistician 2: High School Diploma or GED and not less than 4 years experience in logistics or supply; BS/BA degree and no experience. Technical civilian or military school experience directly related to the equipment in task order requirements may substitute for 2 years experience.
