Functional Responsibilities: (one or more of the following)
- Possesses knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Department of Defense (DoD) regulations, instructions, policies, and procedures related to logistics and acquisition.
- Coordinates and communicates with senior government officials to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Manages program to ensure successful completion of tasks in accordance with the schedule, as in accordance with the statement of work.
- Plans, manages, and controls the cost and schedule of assigned tasks and projects.
- Possesses experience with commercial practices related to systems procurement and production.
- Supervises multiple large-scale, complex technical projects. Responsible for allocating resources among tasks.
- Performs as principal liaison with customer for business and program matters.
- Responsible for business and technical execution of large, complex projects.
- Interacts with customer on technical issues.
- Develops, directs, coordinates and controls technical and administrative activities for one or more logistics, acquisition, training, technical, or engineering programs
- Supervises project leaders in the execution of their programs.
- Reviews and maintains quality of work.
- Reviews and maintains responsibility of program financial reports.
- Makes judgments and provides advice on the resolution of technical, schedule, performance, or budgetary problems.
Job Qualifications:
- Senior Executive Program Manager: BS/BA degree with not less than 25 years experience in government logistics, acquisition, or military maintenance or supply assignments. MS/MA degree with not less than 20 years of such experience. Must have not less than 15 years of program management experience.
- Executive Program Manager: BS/BA degree with not less than 20 years experience in government logistics, acquisition, or military maintenance or supply assignments. MS/MA degree with not less than 15 years of such experience. Must have not less than 10 years of program management experience.
- Senior Program Manager: High School degree and not less than 20 years experience in government logistics, acquisition, or military maintenance or supply assignments or a BS/BA degree with not less than 15 years experience. MS/MA degree with not less than 10 years of such experience. Must have not less than 8 years of program management experience.
- Senior Project Leader: High School degree with not less than 15 years of experience in government logistics, acquisition, or military maintenance or supply assignments or a BS/BA degree with not less than 10 years experience. MS/MA degree with not less than 5 years experience of such experience. Must have not less than 3 years of project management experience.
